Our Company:

The Lavender Moon Soap Company studio is located in Winchester, Virginia in the heart of the Shenandoah Valley. The company originally started about thirteen years ago in New Hampshire by LynneAnn Trask. Over the years, the company has grown out of more than a few studios and has tried on a few different names, but has always stayed true to the quality and craftsmanship of its products.

All of our products are proudly made in the USA and over 90% of our packaging is made in America and can be recycled. No animal testing and no animal by-products.

They say the mother of invention is necessity...

LynneAnn Trask, interior designer turned entrepreneur, started her company like many entrepreneurs, with a need. She needed something constructive to do when she became a stay-at-home mom; she needed something creative to satisfy her "inner artist" and most importantly, she needed something to soothe the very dry, sensitive, flaky skin of her premature twins. Born over two months early the Trask twins had terrible skin problems.

So with the spark of an idea and a lot of research and testing, mixing, pouring, packaging, marketing, etc., we offer the product we craft today. And those tiny, flaky babies have grown into wonderful teens with great skin!
